For baboons, showing teeth is a threat, so don’t smile or scream, turn around slowly and report to the local authorities.

Some people have witnessed baboons running around in Taoyuan. The Forest Service said that if you encounter a baboon, don’t make eye contact with it, don’t smile, scream, or turn around and run, otherwise it may irritate the baboon.
