Russia partially regained control over the direct approaches to the city of Kreminna.

Apparently, the Russian military also wants to return the Kupyansk logistics hub.

This was announced by the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain with reference to the data of British intelligence.

From the beginning of March 2023, heavy fighting has been going on in some parts of the Svatove-Kreminna front line in the north of the Luhansk region, British scouts note.

According to intelligence, in some places Russia has advanced several kilometers.

"The Russian command is probably trying to expand the security zone to the west of the defense line that they have prepared, along the higher areas of the terrain, and also to use a natural obstacle - the Oskil River," - said in a message of British intelligence.

At the same time, from the point of view of an operational assessment of the situation, Russia's intentions in northeastern Ukraine probably remain defensive.

The Russian command probably fears that this is one of the sectors where Ukraine may try to conduct major offensive operations.

Earlier, analysts reported that Russian troops are currently increasing the pace of their offensive operations in the

Avdiivka area.

The deputy head of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine,

Vadym Skibitskyi

, said that the enemy is reorienting the directions for launching missile strikes on Ukraine.

Energy infrastructure will remain under scrutiny.

At the same time, the main target is the military facilities, as well as the concentration of the armed forces and logistics.
