The Russian occupiers left the city of Nova Kakhovka in the Kherson region.

Before that, the Russians robbed the local population, stealing household appliances and valuables.

This was stated in a message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 23.

"As of March 22, 2023, all units of the occupier's army, which were stationed in the settlement of Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region, left the city. This was preceded by a round-up of the nearest homes of the local population for the purpose of profit. The occupiers "confiscated" large quantities of household and electronic equipment from the civilian population , jewelry, items of clothing and mobile phones," the message reads.

In other settlements of the occupied Kherson region, the Russians intensified their search for people with a pro-Ukrainian position.

"The invaders began searching for citizens with a pro-Ukrainian position. To do this, they use lists of ATO participants, military pensioners and lists of those who served in the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine," the General Staff reported.
