The Parliamentary Committee on Education, Culture and Sports has congratulated the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Sports for carrying out its duties properly according to the Budget allocated for the financial year 2022/23.

The Chairman of the Committee, Professor Kitila Mkumbo gave the congratulations today March 23, 2023 in Dodoma, when the Committee received the Ministry's Implementation Information for the Financial Year 2022/23, where he said the Ministry has continued to carry out its duties including helping stakeholders benefit from their work as well as solving emerging conflicts among the stakeholders of its Sectors.

"This ministry is the one that gives happiness to Tanzanians, we as Members of Parliament want to see stability in the Culture, Arts and Sports Sector, let's continue to encourage our young people to work so that we hear good things" Mkumbo stressed.

Initially presenting the statement of the Ministry, Minister Hon.

Ambassador Dr. Pindi Chana has said that for the fiscal year 2022/23, the ministry has succeeded in restarting the process of the National Costume, continuing to promote Kiswahili as well as coordinating and organizing the Cultural Festival and Kiswahili Day.

Chana has explained that the Ministry has managed to coordinate the participation of National Teams in the World Cup, including the Serengeti Girls and Tembo Warriors, which both reached the quarter-finals stage, while adding that the Government is already paying the National Football Team Coach (Taifa Star )

In addition, the members of the Committee have analyzed the information at the wrong time where they have insisted the Ministry continue to manage those sectors that employ more young people.
