A video appeared on the Internet, in which the son of the mayor of the city of Berezan in the Kyiv region, Volodymyr Tymchenko, hit a soldier.

The police are already investigating this fact.

The police of the Kyiv region commented on the incident for TSN.ua.

The incident occurred at a session of the Berezan City Council, when a military man who had come home on leave allegedly began criticizing the mayor's actions and decisions. 

The posted video shows how a military man gets up and stands next to the place where Tymchenko is sitting to address the mayor.

At some point, Timchenko's son jumps up from his seat and calls the fighter a "scary" and then punches him in the face.

The police reported that they have already started a pre-trial investigation into this fact.

"We inform you that the investigators of the Brovary police department of the Kyiv region have started a pre-trial investigation (Part 1 of Article 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) into the fact of intentional infliction of minor bodily injuries. Currently, law enforcement officers are conducting a full check and investigative actions," the law enforcement officers said.

It will be recalled that in Zaporizhzhia, an inebriated civilian hit a military man, stole his machine gun and started a chaotic shooting.

A Ukrainian defender died at the scene of the incident.
