[Reporter Zhang Xuanzhe/Taichung Report] The Waipu Yellow House at the foot of Tienzhen Mountain was tentatively designated as a historic site by the Taichung City Government the year before last. The Waipu Yellow House was owned by the Huang family in Tieshan Li. This courtyard-style 2-story building has a spacious courtyard and an elegant appearance, especially the simple style of the square and round windows. Unfortunately, it has been abandoned for many years, and the surrounding area is full of smoke and grass. In the past, some Internet celebrities broke into the live broadcast in the name of adventure.

A building is being built behind the yellow house, forming a sharp contrast.

The Waipu District Office pointed out that in recent years, the humanities department has conducted field surveys, but because the gate of the yellow house is locked and the grass is deserted, it is difficult to obtain relevant information, and the public cannot have a glimpse of the style of the building.

The Yellow House was built in 1936 and was temporarily designated as a historic site by the Taichung City Government the year before last. It was a local mansion during the Japanese colonial period. It is located on the back of the mountain and faces the fields. The surface, square windows and round windows are quite distinctive.

It is very rare in the Western-style mansions and historical buildings during the Japanese colonial period.

The descendants of the Huang family have spread their branches and leaves, and have achieved success in various industries. In particular, Huang Laiwang is enthusiastic about public welfare and has won local praise.

As people go to the vacant building, the yellow house has been idle for many years, and the garden is overgrown. Last year, an Internet celebrity broke into the live broadcast on the grounds of adventure. The door of the yellow house is currently locked, and a building is being built behind it.
