The judgment of the Nantou District Court pointed out that a man surnamed Lai was a teacher of a certain elementary school. On a certain day in December last year, he saw a 10-year-old girl student sweeping the floor in the corridor. He went up to greet the girl student, and the student stopped to respond. And Lai Nan suddenly grabbed the girl's shoulders with both hands, and then pulled the girl to his chest and hugged her.

The hugging incident was filed by the girl's parents for sexual harassment. At the time, the girl said that Lai Nan touched her breasts.
