President Volodymyr Zelenskyi spoke about his trip to Kherson and called on Europe not to delay in helping Ukraine, as Russian evil is erasing populated areas in Ukraine from the face of the earth every day. 

He said this on March 23 during his address to the participants of the meeting of the European Council. 

Zelensky recorded his address on the train and talked about his visits to Kharkiv and Kherson.

He emphasized that the cities on the front line are constantly being destroyed by the Russian occupation army. 

The President emphasized that Europe does not submit to the tyranny of the Russian Federation and has shown that it is ready to resist aggression.

He urged partners not to delay in helping Ukraine. 

"Time matters. Not only months and weeks, but also days. The faster we act together with you, the more lives we save. For more than a year of full-scale war, our cooperation with you is constantly increasing. Was there a destructive delay between our steps? There was. But still, we were moving towards a common goal - you and I acted to stop Russian terror," the president said. 

The President thanked all the countries that joined the initiative to supply ammunition to Ukraine.

"I am especially grateful to those of you who actively participate in the initiative proposed by Estonia and approved by all of you regarding the supply and production of projectiles for our artillery. The more often Ukrainian guns hit the occupier, the less chance Russia has to implement its genocidal policy against Ukrainians and other Europeans," the president said. 

Zelensky called on the world to provide Ukraine

in order to prevent strikes on peaceful cities. 

"But, dear colleagues, don't you feel that there are fewer new successes with you than new delays in joint actions? Unfortunately, it is so. And the Kremlin sees it. This distances us from achieving peace. I will now there are five examples of such delays. Despite the fact that every hour on the battlefield is important, the delay in the supply of long-range missiles for Ukraine is already significant. And this does not allow us to reject the positions of Russian terrorists, in particular, from Kherson, from Zaporizhzhia and others of our cities, which are constantly under fire from Russian long-range missiles. We cannot delay the transfer of weapons to our soldiers that can protect Ukrainians from terror. Constant Russian terror," he emphasized. 

Zelensky thanked Poland and Slovakia for the transfer of MiG-29 aircraft, but emphasized that Ukraine

"Remember how much Russian intimidation there was when it came to the transfer of Leopards and other more modern tanks than those that our soldiers had before. More modern tanks are already in Ukraine. So what did Russia do in response? We all have to get used to the fact that the state - the terrorist bluffs more often than he can escalate. All the evil against Ukraine and the whole of Europe, which Russia was capable of, it is already doing," he emphasized. 

The president added that the world needs to impose

"The peace formula,

. This is the only realistic and comprehensive plan to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine and guarantee the security of our people and the whole of Europe. We have been talking with you for a long time about organizing a peace formula summit. I am ready to schedule the summit for the nearest time in Kyiv. But we all understand very well that in the current conditions, unfortunately, many leaders will not be able to come to Ukraine. So I call on you to help us with this. We can organize a summit in one of the world capitals - in one of the European capitals. "Wouldn't it add global power to Europe? It definitely will," the president emphasized. 

Zelenskyi added that it is now important

and explained that even under conditions of war, all institutions are working in our country. 

"Ukraine is ready for the decision to start negotiations on membership in the European Union already this year. The same readiness is needed on the part of all of you, dear ones - the main one, every leader of Europe. Ukrainians need to see your readiness and be motivated by it. To feel, that the protection of European values ​​by our soldiers is truly supported by all of Europe," the president said.
