Mamta Banerjee met Naveen Patnaik in Bhubaneswar.

Bhubaneswar:

Before the Loksabha Elections 2024 (Loksabha Elections 2024), the buzz of the third front has intensified again.

Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress President Mamata Banerjee met Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal President Naveen Patnaik in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.

This meeting assumes significance after Mamata Banerjee's recent conversation with Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav in Kolkata.

In this meeting, both had agreed to keep both Congress and BJP at an arm's length.

Mamta Banerjee also has a program to meet former Karnataka Chief Minister and JDS leader HD Kumaraswamy in Kolkata on Friday.

Mamta Banerjee is also going to meet Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi at the end of this month.

There is a tussle between the two leaders towards the BJP.

Mamata Banerjee has been accusing the Center of "injustice to Bengal and denial of funds".

At the same time, Kejriwal has been accusing the "dictatorial attitude on the central government".

The meeting between Biju Janata Dal chief Mamata Banerjee and Naveen Patnaik is being seen as a "courtesy call".

Political observers say that there was much more to this and this meeting.

Because assembly elections are to be held in Odisha during the general elections in 2024.

Sources say that Mamta Banerjee wants the support of Naveen Patnaik in the third front.

Mamta Banerjee had gone to Delhi last year also.

He met Congress's Sonia Gandhi as well as leaders of several other parties there.

But now Mamata Banerjee has distanced herself from the Congress.

But, now Mamata Banerjee is trying to unite the rest of the parties to form a third front against the BJP.

Earlier, while talking to the media, Akhilesh Yadav had said that we are with Mamta Didi in Bengal.

We want to maintain equal distance from both BJP and Congress.

He said that those who get 'BJP vaccine' installed, they do not care about CBI, ED or IT.

The Samajwadi Party is ready to make any sacrifice to protect the Constitution.

If we can defeat BJP in UP, then BJP can be defeated all over the country.
