In Lviv, law enforcement officers detained a pseudo-policeman who took possession of a box for donations for the treatment of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported in the press service of the police of the Lviv region.

As noted, a 28-year-old resident of Luhansk region is suspected of committing the crime.

During the commission of the crime, he was disguised as a police officer, and he also presented himself as a law enforcement officer.

The installed box was in the shopping center on Kulparkivska Street.

The man grabbed the box and ran away from the scene.

"At the same time, the attacker, who was dressed in a uniform police jacket, introduced himself as a police officer to the mall guards.

The fugitive was chased by the security guards of the shopping and entertainment center, and in addition to that, employees of all police units were targeting him.

Soon after, patrolling policemen noticed a man on Naukovya Street, similar to the description of the robber, and detained him.

The box with funds, which the intruder took possession of, remained undamaged," the regional police said.

If the man's guilt is proven in court, he will go behind bars for a term of up to ten years.

We will remind that in the Lviv region, an immigrant from Donetsk region will be tried, who gave the fighters of the fake "DNR" data about the location of the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
