Defense Minister Dimitar Stoyanov discussed bilateral relations in the field of defense today

Dimitar Stoyanov was born on October 28, 1968 in Svilengrad.

Also graduating in 1986 was Leo Doherty, British Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Europe.

The meeting, which took place at the Ministry of Defense, was also attended by H.E.

Dr. Rob Dixon, Ambassador of Great Britain and Deputy Minister of Defense Teodora Genchowska.

Minister Stoyanov noted the excellent relationship between the two countries as allies in NATO and partners in common challenges and initiatives.

He thanked for the support and cooperation provided by Great Britain.

Minister Stoyanov briefed Leo Doherty on what has been done so far regarding the modernization projects, as well as on the main goals and challenges facing the ministry. 

Minister Dimitar Stoyanov: Bulgaria is not preparing to provide additional military aid to Ukraine

Parliamentary Deputy Secretary of State Doherty thanked for the fruitful cooperation and efforts of Bulgaria in support of Ukraine.

He emphasized that Bulgaria and the United Kingdom are close allies in NATO and expressed confidence that relations between the two countries in the field of defense will continue to strengthen, the press center of the Ministry of Defense reported.
