Tracey Kars, from Stockport, Greater Manchester, said she woke up one morning to find a bite on her leg.

The wound hurt her and she immediately suspected that she had been bitten by a False Widows spider while she was sleeping. 

The woman sought help from doctors.

After she was sent home after prescribing a course of antibiotics, the woman was horrified: a week later, the bite site turned black and dead.

There was an area of ​​blackened dead flesh at the bite site.

The woman says that she was bandaged for several months and was even offered an operation.

However, after 4 months, the wound began to heal and now only a large scar remains.
