Near the building of the Odesa Museum of Western and Eastern Art, located on the corner of Pushkinska and Gretska Streets in the regional center, something resembling a dead cow was discovered in a construction bucket among garbage and waste.

The corresponding photo was published by local Telegram channels.

Specialists of the Odesa District Department of the Main Department of the State Production and Consumer Service in the Odesa region went to the place of the strange find and examined it.

"After examining the "corpse", it was found that it is an effigy of a hoofed animal," the specialists reported.

The State Production and Consumer Service noted that museumized remains and artificially created figures of animals are not subject to the Law of Ukraine "On Veterinary Medicine" and do not pose a threat to public health.

As a reminder, Ukrainian animal rights activists demand the protection of laboratory animals, which are used to teach students without the use of anesthesia.

As an example of "animal torture", they gave an experiment during classes at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the National University of Bioresources and Nature Management.
