Kharkiv police managed to establish the identity of the Russian who shot a civilian car with two people in it.

The woman was then rescued by the Ukrainian military, who took her to a safe area with the help of a drone.

The investigation lasted a whole year.

Thanks to these calls, the police were able to identify the criminal

"A resident of the city of Moscow. He is a senior lieutenant, the commander of the first motorized rifle company. His name is Kyerzhaev Klim," said the head of the investigative department of the State Police of the Kharkiv region.

26-year-old Klim Kerzhaev, married, has a child, rests in resorts.

Valeria and her husband went from Kyiv to Bakhmut to evacuate their relatives.

Enemy positions were attacked by accident.

The moment of the shooting was accidentally filmed by Ukrainian aerial scouts who were surveying the territory with a drone.

When the woman saw the copter, she knelt down.

"We shouted everywhere that we are not military, but civilians," the woman says.

To get the woman away from the Russians, Ukrainian fighters launched another drone with a note: follow me.

After hesitation, Valeria nevertheless dared to go to help the man who was bleeding.

"But on these shots, you can see how the Russians are going to the shot car. They mistook the man, who was unconscious, for dead and simply threw him into the pit. He lay there until nightfall and woke up from the rain," continues the story of the TSN correspondent.

Law enforcement officers carried out dozens of examinations that confirmed the committed crime.

Klim Kerzhaev is currently suspected of violating the laws of war.

Now, according to the police, the Russian military continues to fight and kill people already in Donetsk region.

He faces up to fifteen years in prison for shooting a car with civilians. 

Previously, it was about a paramedic from Donetsk region, who will forever carry a piece of the war.

The enemy projectile remained in the body of Oksana Korneva.
