Chinese leader Xi Jinping has completed a three-day visit to Moscow, where he held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The key topics were the war in Ukraine and the strengthening of economic cooperation between the People's Republic of China and Russia.

What did Beijing and Moscow agree on, will Xi Jinping help Putin in the war against Ukraine, what to expect from the "peace plan" of the People's Republic of China - TSN.ua gathered the opinions of experts.

"Pro-Russian neutrality" and military aid

Xi Jinping will refrain from supplying Putin with offensive weapons, although he may provide modest military aid through third countries.

Ivan Stupak

, a military expert of the Ukrainian Institute of the Future ,

came to this conclusion in an interview with TSN.ua.

"I think Xi Jinping came to listen to Putin and his entourage, what is generally happening on the front line. Yes, he has all the information from his intelligence, satellites, but it is important to hear directly from one of the parties. He is told the prospects - how long it will take, how it is progressing, and the Chinese leader checks this information with his intelligence, diplomatic, political, military channels and compares for himself to make a complete picture of the universe. I wanted to know how much more Russia plans to fight this war, what China can potentially gain from cooperation from the Russian Federation, as he understands that Russia is now very dependent on China's political position," the expert noted.

In his opinion, today

the cooperation between Russia and China "is included in the phrase pro-Russian neutrality"

.

"China will not provide the military assistance expected by Russia in the form of aircraft, artillery systems, and salvo fire systems. Helmets, body armor, and clothing will be handed over. Perhaps there will still be satellite images of the territory of Ukraine, but not from the Chinese government, but from private companies . And the government will throw up its hands - we are useless. Perhaps the government, through third countries and private companies, will help with Maviks - unmanned aerial vehicles, small attack drones," Stupak believes.

Xi feels Putin's "weak points".

Xi Jinping is trying to push Putin to the Chinese plan for a peaceful settlement in Ukraine.

Russian political analyst Olga

Kurnosova

expressed this opinion in an exclusive interview with TSN.ua.

"It seems to me that now

Xi Jinping is feeling for Putin's "weak points" in order to force him to start following the Chinese peace settlement plan

. It seems to me that Xi Jinping would like to somehow nullify the military situation. In my opinion, the visit is primarily about that, so such long negotiations," the expert believes.

In her opinion,

China is not interested in an alliance with the Kremlin, but in economic preferences - benefits from cheap Russian hydrocarbons and the extraction of other minerals

.

"There is one thesis that is absolutely clear to China - they have a difficult situation with Taiwan, accordingly, they do not support separatist sentiments anywhere. Therefore, in principle, they cannot support Russia in this situation. This will violate their own idea of how everything should develop. That's why they will never recognize Russian claims to Ukrainian territories," Kurnosova is convinced.
