In the new package of military aid to Ukraine from the US for 350 million dollars, surprises are possible from the Biden administration.

Ivan Stupak, military expert of the Ukrainian Institute of the Future,

expressed this opinion in an exclusive interview

with TSN.ua.

In particular, he noted that in one of the lists in the provided package there are Himars MLRS missiles, but the exact range is not specified.

At the same time, he suggested that the USA could pleasantly surprise the Armed Forces with something.

“The story with the downing of the American drone may have been the catalyst for this statement and may be the transmission of something more interesting.

We have to wait for the official statements of the representatives of the White House", - emphasized the expert.

Ivan Stupak also commented on the statement of the European Union on the transfer of one million artillery ammunition to Ukraine within the next 12 months.

"We are allocated projectiles, but they are not physically available yet, some of them are being manufactured.

This is a very long process.

In Europe, there really is a problem with the production of projectiles, explosives, and gunpowder," he explained.

The expert reminded that the EU allocated one billion euros to compensate the countries that supply shells to Ukraine.

"One 155 mm projectile has recently jumped in value by 20% and the cost of one projectile reaches 850 euros.

Ukraine fires 3,000 shells a day, i.e. 2.5 million euros fly away.

All these statements are a motivation to push Ukraine to take decisive action", Ivan Stupak believes.

We will remind, after Russia shot down the American MQ-9 Reaper drone, the USA sent a new RQ-4 Global Hawk drone to the Black Sea.
