In the Vinnytsia region, the whole family was poisoned by carbon monoxide: a 45-year-old mother and a 14-year-old son died, the eldest daughter is in intensive care.

This is reported in the story of TSN.

A woman contacted the police and reported that she could not contact her daughter and grandchildren.

Then the law enforcement officers arrived at the family's residence.

"When they entered the house, there was a persistent smell of gas, after passing further they saw the owner of the house and the child, who were without signs of life. In the other room, there was a girl who was unconscious, but breathing," - say the police.

In order to save 16-year-old Sasha, the police rushed to meet her in an ambulance.

Now the girl is in intensive care, her condition is critical.

"Stable serious. The girl was in a separate room, and less gas got to her," says Valery Primak, head doctor of the Tiberias hospital.

Her 45-year-old mother and younger brother died a few hours before the police arrived.

The father of the family is a truck driver and was on the flight, relatives say.

And they explain - they didn't start worrying right away, because they thought Olesya was working.

"Everyone knew that if Lesya was working, you should write on Viber.

The grandmother sounded the alarm when the grandchildren did not answer," says Alla Shunevych, a relative of the deceased.

The police are investigating the case as an accident.

They have already found out that a few days before, a new gas boiler and pipes were installed in the house.

The old equipment is still lying in the yard.

And after that, the woman began to complain about not feeling well, relatives say.

Apparently, the family was poisoned with gas for several days.

Carbon monoxide is extremely insidious, rescuers remind.

After all, there is no smell or color.

"Its principle of action is such that it gets into the blood and binds to hemoglobin, stopping the access of oxygen to the body, even small concentrations of carbon monoxide cause death. Its toxicity is compared to hydrocyanic acid," says Oleksandr Kutovyi, spokesman for the State Emergency Service of Vinnytsia.

Therefore, it is advised to regularly ventilate the premises, check the draft in hoods, and be sure to purchase a special detector that monitors the presence of poison in the air

14-year-old Artem and his mother have already been buried.

Doctors continue to fight for the life of Sasha, who ended up in intensive care on her 16th birthday.

We will remind, in the Rivne region, the whole family was poisoned by carbon monoxide.

They were hospitalized in satisfactory condition.
