Kyiv views the abduction of children by the dictator Putin as part of a genocide aimed at destroying Ukraine.

At the same time, the Ukrainian government suggests the possibility of negotiations with Russia, but not with Putin.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, and the Secretary of the National Security Council, Oleksiy Danilov, told Politico about this.

Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security Council, noted that negotiations with Putin are difficult to imagine at the moment after the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for the head of the Kremlin.

Earlier, the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine and the representative of the Ukrainian negotiating team in Istanbul, Mykhailo Podoliak, immediately wrote that the recognition of Putin as "an obvious international criminal directly means that there will be no negotiations with the current Russian elite."

Danilov says that Putin was supposed to stand trial in 2014 for the downing of the Malaysian passenger plane MH17.

"It's 2023 and this bastard still has no responsibility. Now we have to talk to him after he killed 500 of our own children? What kind of world do we live in?" Danilov said.

Meanwhile, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, said: long before the arrest warrant, Ukraine was convinced of the futility of dialogue with the Russian dictator, as all previous attempts turned out to be failures.

He recalled the decision of the National Security Council, which officially prohibited negotiations with Putin.

"Putin ignores everything, all he wants is more war, more stolen Ukrainian children, more killed Ukrainians and more captured Ukrainian lands. How can you deal with such evil? It must be suppressed by force," Kuleba added.

The minister clarified that Ukraine generally assumes negotiations with the Russian Federation.

Meanwhile, Chinese leader Xi Jinping supported Putin's nuclear threats.

According to Ukrainian experts , it is important for the Chinese leader to show "

his positive image and his rationality".
