Kiev's western partners may start supplying Ukraine with F-16 fighters.

There is no absolute refusal of such assistance.

APA reports that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said this in an interview with "The Guardian".

According to him, the Western countries have already given the Ukrainian side enough equipment to liberate the territories from occupation, including tanks, combat vehicles and missiles.

He added that now the main goal of Ukraine is to attack and liberate the occupied territories.

Stoltenberg did not rule out the delivery of American F-16 fighters to Ukraine, despite US President Joe Biden's refusal to do so, adding that "no decision has been made regarding the F-16 yet."

"We must continue to address the need for empowerment," he said.
