"Dozens of T-54 tanks were loaded from a unit in the Russian Far East and headed west. These are combat vehicles produced from 1946 to 1973," the publication added.

"Tanks do not have a precise technique for determining the distance to the target. These machines do not have fire control systems and are difficult to move," UNIAN also pointed out.

During the June-November period, at least 191 T-62 tanks (pictured) were transposed to Ukraine from the same base of the Russian Armed Forces.

The machines in question were decommissioned in the Russian Federation in 2011," the media added, without specifying whether the T-54 and T-62 had entered combat.

The cited edition also noted that the forces of the aggressors have lost 3,557 tanks since the beginning of the war, five of them in the past 24 hours.
