The situation now is slightly different from the previous elections.

This is due to the video surveillance of the ballot counting.

Two types of ballots will now be counted - paper and machine ballots.

The second count will be slower than printing a single election report from a machine.

This was stated in the program "More from the day" on BNT by the deputy chairman of the CEC, Rositsa Mateva, who commented on the early elections on April 2.

It became clear how we will vote on April 2 and how the video surveillance will be carried out

"The machine will not print a protocol. It will print out how many people voted on a machine. The ballots from the machines will be counted. We will also extract the data from the flash memory of the machines. Anyone who is interested will be able to check the data from the SIC protocols and the machines' flash memory," she revealed.

They tested the election video surveillance system

"From today, the training of the members of the SEC begins.

One of our recommendations is that they take their time and count the ballots carefully

," added Rositsa Mateva.
