[Reporter Zhang Xiesheng/Report from Nantou] The Forestry Bureau of the Council of Agriculture promotes the "Endangered Species and Important Habitat Ecological Service Payment Promotion Plan" and implements the plan in Nantou County to encourage local residents to participate in the conservation of Shihu habitat. Among them, friendly farmland is paid In Jiji Town and Zhongliao Township in the implementation area, at least 50 farmers last year set up automatic cameras on the cultivated land to take pictures of stone tigers, and each received a reward of 10,000 yuan.

This year, the program accepts applications from now until April 14th. The public is welcome to apply to the implementing district office to participate in the conservation of stone tigers.

The Agriculture Department of Nantou County Government stated that since Nantou County cooperated with the pilot implementation of the "Endangered Species and Important Habitat Ecological Service Payment Promotion Program", the public has actively participated and achieved remarkable results. Last year, 181 farmers participated, 8 poultry farmers and 15 community patrols.

Among them, the areas where the friendly farmland payment is implemented are Jiji Town and Zhongliao Township. Farmers adopt friendly farming methods, and the maximum reward is 20,000 yuan per hectare. Images of stone tigers were photographed on the land of at least 50 farmers.

Patrol and monitoring payments are implemented in Nantou City, Caotun Town, Zhushan Town, Jiji Town, Mingjian Township, Lugu Township, Zhongliao Township, Guoxing Township, and Shuili Township. The team guards, patrols the habitat of stone tigers and related conservation work, and issues rewards of up to 60,000 yuan per year. If stone tigers are detected within the scope of patrol, an additional reward of 50,000 yuan can be issued.

The upper limit is 15 groups. If the upper limit is exceeded, priority will be given to new applicant groups.

In addition, farmers who raise poultry in 13 townships and cities in the county will receive a reward of 3,000 yuan if they find that there is a suspected stone tiger invading poultry and not endangering the survival of the stone tiger, and report to the county government's agriculture department for confirmation.

Cooperate with monitoring and shooting Shihu, you can get another 10,000 yuan reward, and you can report before the end of December this year.
