Probable health problems, the appearance of excess weight, noticeable swelling of the face, trembling hands did not prevent the well-known blogger and part-time head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov from reporting to Moscow on March 13 with a cheat sheet and asking the Kremlin dictator, who habitually gripped the table, for permission brag about your "successes".

Kadyrov is nervous and does not find a place for himself, because he is afraid of losing the favor of his master.

And the role of the "Kadyrivets" at the front is close to minimal.

That's why he came to the meeting with Putin to prove that all commands are being carried out and they "aim to act to the victorious end, don."

Just don't quarrel: Kadyrov is gradually losing influence in the Kremlin

On March 13, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, met with Putin to discuss Chechnya's socio-economic achievements and domestic events in 2022.

The American Institute for the Study of War noted that Kadyrov is desperately trying to keep Chechnya relevant in Russia's political and military space.

A month ago, Ramzan Kadyrov's agony worsened again.

During his speech, he made several loud statements.

In particular, he noted that "the Russian Federation will seize Kyiv and reach the borders of Poland."

And supplies of western-style tanks to Ukraine supposedly "don't mean anything."

At the same time, Kadyrov called the defeat on the battlefield during the "special operation" a military-tactical move that allowed him to "conduct his military policy, which is necessary for us today."

The leader of Chechnya has many such populist statements.

For him, this is a kind of reassurance, as well as for Putin, who constantly insists that "everything is going according to plan."

Previously, the odious figure of Kadyrov was considered almost the most influential person in the Russian Federation, but the latest meeting was another confirmation that Ramzan is rapidly turning into a court jester who finds it difficult to put words together.

He is trying to demonstrate the importance of his region and himself personally in the political and military sphere of the Russian Federation, while visibly nervous.

This is stated in the report of the Institute for the Study of War dated March 13.

In the end, Ramzan Kadyrov still told Putin about the activities of Chechen militants in Ukraine, expecting praise and noted that the Chechens faithfully carry out the orders of their Kremlin master, because "they want to act to the victorious end."

Putin, in his turn, acknowledged the merits of the Kadyrivians, and "patted Don-Don on the head."

According to the authors of the report, the tension of the Chechen head may indicate that he feels pressure.

According to the Center of National Resistance from March 6, Ramzan Kadyrov is recruiting militants from the so-called

"DNR" in the ranks of its army: "Feudal currents continue in Russia, which are connected with the future distribution of power.

Gauleiter of occupied Ichkeria, Ramzan Kadirov, began to recruit fighters from the so-called army.

"DPR" in its ranks to strengthen its power."

There are no combat achievements: how Kadyrov's troops fight

Russian propaganda formed the image of the Kadyrovs as a formidable force capable of fulfilling all Putin's whims.

But this myth was debunked in the first days of the full-scale invasion by the Ukrainian military.

In addition, during the war, the "Tik-Tok-troops" "distinguished themselves" only by filming and committing atrocities against the civilian population.

The Akhmat special rapid response unit takes an active part in the bloody war waged by Russia against Ukraine.

The main task of the Kadyrovs is to "clean up" and kill Russian soldiers who flee from the battlefield.

In simple words, they perform the function of "blockades" and shoot at their own.

But the people of Kadyrov obviously do not consider Russians to be "theirs", because then why do they call them "lice" and kill them with great pleasure?

Despite his reputation and obvious defeats, Kadyrov continues to work to maintain Chechnya's relevance in Russia's political and military sphere.

Currently, Chechen troops play a minor role on the fronts in Ukraine — they conduct offensive operations near Beilohorivka, Luhansk region, and also perform police tasks in the occupied territories.

The behavior of Kadyrov, who is afraid of losing Putin's favor, is logical because he has nothing to show for his military achievements in Chechnya.

"I want more Kadyrovs": why does Putin have "don-don" squads

On September 21, a partial mobilization was announced in Russia.

They wanted to call up 300,000 reservists to go to war in Ukraine.

At the same time, the head of the Chechen Republic stated that there will be no mobilization on his territory.

According to him, 20,000 Chechens took part in hostilities in Ukraine, so the region "overachieved" the plan by 254%.

At the same time, it is not known what exactly the plan is about and how it was approved.

Kadyrov, who during the Second Chechen War (1999−2009) followed his father to the side of the Kremlin, thus gaining absolute power in the region, repeatedly publicly confessed his complete loyalty to the Russian master Putin and supported him in every way.

However, Putin has other plans for Kadyrov's forces - experts believe that the head of the Kremlin may be going to pressure Kadyrov to increase the number of Chechens in the combat zone in Ukraine against the background of the heavy losses of the Wagner PMC and other Russian forces: "Putin, for his part, he probably hopes that he will be able to pressure Kadyrov to increase the role of Chechen fighters in combat operations due to the continuing losses from both the Wagner group and the regular Russian military during the current offensive operations in Ukraine.

We previously

reported

that at the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russian President Volodymyr Putin sent an order to the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, to occupy the Kyiv government quarters and kill Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

For a long time in Chechnya, local authorities carried out repression against their own population.

According to local residents and human rights groups, thousands of men were forced to go to fight.

Subsequently, the role of Chechen units in Ukraine changed.

Since the end of summer, they have been used as blocking units, the reserves of which must be replenished.

The political figure of Kadyrov is weakening, the party of war along with it

Putin can do without Kadyrov, but Kadyrov cannot do without Putin.

Oppositionist and blogger Mark Feigin believes that Kadyrov, together with Prigozhin and Surovikin, is part of the triumvirate that does not have support in the government apparatus, and it is these people who are very much interfering in some way.

"Therefore, I assume that these people will physically end their lives not by themselves, but "by force"... I got the impression that Kadyrov, Prigozhin, and Surovikin promised something to Putin, but did not fulfill it.

Probably, they promised: "And we will take the Donetsk region!".

They could promise.

But they didn't take it.

And Bakhmut was not taken.

But guessing is a thankless task," said the oppositionist.

Kadyrov has a very subtle sense of the processes at the top, and that's why he went into the shadows so as not to be framed once again.

Russian political scientist Dmytro Oreshkin told about this in an interview with Glavred.

He also noted that the story with "SVO" ended unsuccessfully, and now Putin's Russia is involved in a long-term war of exhaustion.

And here, of course, both the Kadyrovites and the Prigozhynites play their important role, but they are still in the background.

Putin will go ahead as long as he has the material resources and as long as his officers obey his orders.

But their willingness to fight is also not an infinite resource.

You see, Kadyrov is, by and large, expendable for Putin.

The war party in Russia is inevitably weakening.

Putin does not have much time left and options for the development of events.
