[Reporter Wang Shanyan/Report from Chiayi] A certain curtain store in Chiayi with the surname Li has many real estate properties under his name. The manager of the curtain store, surnamed Zheng, became greedy when he learned about it, and persuaded Li Xiaokai, who also worked in the curtain store, to find a vagrant named Jiang to act as the owner. Li's father applied for a loan from a private lending company. From May to July 2020, he fraudulently obtained about 8 million yuan in loans. Li's father received a contact from the household registration unit for verification. The incident was discovered, and his son, Zheng Nan and Jiang Nan were called to the police. According to the law, the Chiayi District Court recently concluded that the three people involved in the case were sentenced to prison terms ranging from 2 to 4 and a half years for 5 crimes including counterfeiting securities and fraud.

Among them, Xiaokai surnamed Li was sentenced to 4 years in prison, the store manager surnamed Zheng was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison, and the homeless man surnamed Jiang was sentenced to 2 years in prison. The whole case can be appealed.

The verdict pointed out that Zheng Nan and Li Xiaokai both worked in the curtain shop. Zheng Nan knew that there were many houses and land in Chiayi County and Chiayi City under Li's father's name, so he planned to find homeless people to act as Li's father and use Li's father's name. Zheng Nan told Li Xiaokai about the plan, and the two conspired to split up the borrowed money, and Li Xiaokai stole seals, certificates, and real estate without Li's father's knowledge. Zheng Nan was in charge of finding private loan companies online for ownership certificates and other materials. When handling loan insurance, he found a 69-year-old homeless man surnamed Jiang in front of Chiayi Railway Station to act as Li's father at a cost of 1,000 yuan each time.

The verdict mentioned that since Zheng and Li fraudulently obtained 2 million yuan in cash on May 15, 2020, they have known the flavor of the marrow and fraudulently obtained loans five times, with a total amount of 8 million yuan, of which Zheng Nan received more than 6 million yuan. Li Nan received 500,000 yuan, and Jiang Nan received a total of 5,500 yuan; Suspicion arose when the appointment was applied for a seal certificate. When I contacted Li's father and others for verification, the whole case came to the fore, and Li's father called the police to deal with it.
