The metal for the machines was handed over by the company Metinvest-SMC, within the framework of the military initiative "Steel Front" by the Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov.

Buggies often get into the frame in front-line photos and videos, because they are compact, fast, maneuverable, have high cross-country ability and are easily camouflaged.

They are indispensable when you need to conduct reconnaissance, attack in small groups or make quick raids in the rear of the enemy.

That is why the front buggy is a good alternative to the usual wheeled transport.

But buggies are not the only ones armed with Ukrainian troops: they are manufactured and supplied by activists, volunteers and representatives of individual military associations.

Recently, Metinvest-SMC was approached by representatives of the Operational Command "South": the military needed equipment for the production of buggies.

At the request of the defenders, the company provided 3.8 tons of rolled metal - angles, sheets and pipes - free of charge.

This is enough to make 10 front-line minicars.

"Providing small combat groups with mobile equipment is an important component for the successful performance of our military in combat missions.

We are glad that within the framework of the "Steel Front" our products will help to bring victory closer," noted the general director of Metinvest SMC Ihor Tonev.

You can also help the defenders of Ukraine: if you have old models of Zhiguli 01-07 cars that are not in use, you can hand them over to the Armed Forces.

Write to the representatives of the Operational Command "South" on FB or to the mail coll-centr_ok_pivden@post.mil.gov.ua, and the specialists will turn garage ballast into real four-wheeled warriors.

As you know, since February 24, 2022, the Metinvest company has sent more than UAH 3.1 billion to help the country, of which more than UAH 1.6 billion is for the needs of the army as part of the "Steel Front".

https://steelfront.scm.com.ua/ The company handed over 1,200 drones to the defenders: no private business supplies such a number of drones to the army.

In addition, Metinvest handed over almost 1,700 thermal imagers, 321 cars and "quick cars" to the fighters, and more than 1.1 million liters of fuel were provided for refueling the cars.
