A painting by the world-famous artist Jackson Pollock was discovered in Bulgaria during an operation by the GDBOP and the Greek anti-organized crime services under the coordination of Europol.

It is said to be worth €50 million.

However, if it is authentic, the amount may be even greater, said art consultant Desislava Zafirova in "This Morning".

The prosecution took up the picture of Jackson Pollock

She explained that no gallery in the world could confirm this except the Jackson Pollock Foundation.

A request must be submitted to them and an expertise must be made, which will also be free of charge.

"This artist is traded at prices between 50 to 100-150 million euros.

Such a painting has been sold and is currently owned by the National Gallery of Australia.

"His paintings are more likely owned by large museums, which have halls specifically for art," added Zafirova.

The picture found in our country is supposed to be the same one that was circulating in the market in our country.

"I assume that it is the same painting that was recently circulating among collectors in Bulgaria.

Expertise on authenticity can only be given by the artist's foundation," Zafirova added.

A stolen picture can be identified in a special register.

"Interpol is monitoring it, and it's very easy to verify that this painting is stolen and find out literally within hours if it's found, as it was claimed to be at the end of February."

By this time, she should have been identified," added the expert.
