This will be done with a charity concert by the young pianist Doach Bezduz, who is currently studying in our country, but his hometown is located in the area of the tragedy.

The earthquake in Turkey and Syria 623

Bezduz is only 23 years old, but already master of the keys.

Born in Mersin, southern Turkey, to an opera singer and choir conductor, with a violinist sister, for Doach life seems impossible without music.

Playing the piano is the first and last thing he does every day.

5 years ago, when he graduated from high school, the pianist attended a concert by Lyudmil Angelov in Turkey.

The maestro invited him as a student, and instead of Austria or Germany, Doach arrived here.

Already a scholarship student at the New Bulgarian University, the news of the devastating earthquake in Turkey shook Doach.

His hometown is only 200 km from the epicenter.

"I didn't want to look at social networks because I'm in another country, things don't depend on me and I can't do anything about them.

I have friends, some of whom have also died," says the young pianist.

While he was thinking about how to help, the university decided to organize a charity concert with his performances, and with the funds from the tickets to support Turkish students from the affected areas, writes Nova TV.

"We had some hesitations about doing a concert, because there is such an idea that maybe a concert is not the most appropriate thing in such a mass tragedy, but in the end we decided that we can do this and we will do this". said NBU Executive Director Georgi Tekev.

The concert will be held on March 26 in the "Bulgaria" Chamber Hall with the support of the Sofia Philharmonic.
