This Monday the service was not affected due to a deficit in generation capacity in the national electricity system, UNE reports in its daily report.
At 07:00 this Tuesday, the availability of the SEN was 2,500 MW and the demand was 1,750 MW, with the entire system in service.
The UNE estimates that during the daytime there will be no affectations in the service due to a deficit in generation capacity.
Unit 3 of the CTE Santa Cruz, unit 5 of the CTE Nuevitas, unit 2 of the CTE Felton and unit 3 of the CTE Rente are out of service due to a breakdown.
The CTE Guiteras unit, CTE Cienfuegos unit 4 and units 4 and 6 of the CTE Renté are under maintenance.
The limitations in thermal generation (348 MW) are maintained and in distributed generation 902 MW are not available due to failure, and in maintenance, 290 MW.
For peak hours, the UNE foresees the completion of unit 6 of Energas Boca de Jaruco, with 35 MW, and the entry of unit 3 of CTE Santa Cruz, with 70 MW.
With this forecast, an availability of 2,605 MW and a maximum demand of 2,540 MW are estimated for the peak hour, for a reserve of 65 MW, so that if the forecast conditions are maintained, no affectations are forecast in the service due to a deficit of generation capacity, although the SEN will operate with low reserve at this time.
