F-16s could be of great help to Ukraine in the context of a major counteroffensive.

The other day, Czech President Petr Pavel said that

Ukraine will have only one attempt at a major counteroffensive.

Military expert Pavlo Narozhny explained what the president of the Czech Republic means by these words.

A military expert said this on the air of a telethon on Tuesday, March 21.

"The F-16 aircraft, unlike the Su-35 or MiG-29, was designed as a fighter, but in the process of modernization it became a multi-purpose aircraft. One expert noted that it carries 8 tons of ammunition. These ammunition are not only missiles, they can be controlled bombs that with great accuracy at a distance of up to 50 km hit a point on the map with an accuracy of 1 m. The main advantage of the F-16 is that it can perform various tasks. That is, support

infantry

on the battlefield, it sees enemy aircraft , uses anti-ship harpoon missiles. If we had airplanes armed with harpoons, we would forget about all the threats of the Calibers, which are currently firing at Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine. F-16s are very important to us. The President of the Czech Republic is correct in saying that , that Europeans, Americans,

all our allied countries will not have enough resources to support another counteroffensive, and Ukraine should be successful, so to speak, on the first try,"

he is confident.

Narozhny believes that if the Ukrainian counteroffensive fails, it will give the Russians an opportunity to regroup, conduct a new wave of mobilization, and increase the production of weapons and equipment.

"They will mobilize 300-500 thousand of their citizens, they will have time to train them, they will drive them through the training ground, give them weapons, they will have time to lift their heavy equipment, but it will take a lot of time. Because in a month they can lift from storage up to 60 tanks, but this is less than Ukraine is currently destroying on the battlefield. If we stop burning Russian tanks, then they will very quickly restore them and send them to the battlefield. Then the situation in the fall or next spring, after a long pause by the Russians

, will be critical for us,"

he concluded.
