Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida arrived on a surprise visit to Kyiv, Kyodo news agency reported.
Kishida is the only G7 leader who has yet to visit Ukraine since the Russian offensive began in late February last year.
He is expected to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky
