Executive Premier Chen Chien-jen said in an interview today (21) that he hoped that Malaysia's trip could safeguard the dignity and sovereignty of our country, and more importantly, demonstrate to the other side and the world the reciprocity and respect for Taiwan's sovereignty.

The Legislative Yuan continues to invite Chen Jianren to lead the heads of various ministries and commissions to conduct general policy inquiries.

Chen Chien-jen said that former President Ma should have heard the voice of the people of Taiwan, and hoped that his trip would safeguard the dignity and sovereignty of our country. President Ma is not only "Mr. Ma" but also the outgoing head of state. His trip can demonstrate to the other side and the world the reciprocity and respect for Taiwan's sovereignty.
