Georgia firefighters rescued a dog that climbed into the engine compartment of a man's car.
According to upi.com, the driver stopped when he noticed the dog in the middle of the road.
The puppy disappeared under his car and climbed into the engine compartment.
A crew from the Marietta Fire Department arrived at the scene.
"The dog was between the engine air intake and the firewall. The top cover of the air chamber was removed for better access," the report said.

As a result, firefighters removed several more parts from the car to get the animal out.
The dog was not injured and was turned over to Cobb County Animal Control.

Firefighters then collected the car's spare parts so the driver could continue on his way.
It will be recalled that an exotic serval cat
tested positive for cocaine
after it was rescued in the United States.
The animal was transferred to the zoo.
