Military analyst, Colonel Petro Chernyk compared how many shells the Russian Federation and Ukraine use at the front.

He said this in an exclusive interview with TSN.ua.

According to the expert, the enemy now uses up to 15,000 shells per day.

Unfortunately, Ukraine has not yet reached this indicator.

"It varies in our country from 5 to 7 thousand. But the very fact that the process of purchasing up to 1 million projectiles has been launched, they will go in addition to those that are already in use. Also, the American military industrial complex has restarted. If at the beginning of the war, the Americans could manufacture up to 13,000 shells per month - now in the range of 20,000-22,000, and they have declared an increase in this indicator to 50,000 shells per month," says Chernyk.

Instead, the enemy's potential will decrease.

According to the expert, the maximum that the Russians can produce is 4,000 shells per month.

"If they do not come to an agreement with China (and there is such a threat), then they will have a projectile "stroke" is inevitable. And as for us - exactly the opposite. Every week our fire potential will increase. This can be the turning point that will help organize a big counteroffensive," the colonel concluded.

Earlier, the General Staff mentioned the need of the Armed Forces in artillery.

We will remind that the EU and the USA made important decisions for the transfer of ammunition to Ukraine.

In particular, the European Union should provide a million ammunition.

At the same time, the occupiers use more than 20,000 shells on the front every day.

Shell starvation of the Russian army

Oleksandr Musienko, head of the Center for Military Legal Research, said that the Russians simply do not have time to produce the required number of shells.

That is why they are begging for weapons around the world.

According to the opinion of military expert Oleksandr Kovalenko, in 2-3 months it will not be a "starvation" but a "shell stroke".

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov also reported that, compared to the summer, the Russian army is gradually experiencing a "shell hunger".

Instead, Austrian military expert Tom Cooper explained what actually is the cause of the "shell hunger" in the Russian army.

According to his information, there are enough shells in the Russian Federation, it's just that the occupiers are unable to deliver them to the front line in time due to logistical problems and regular strikes by Ukrainian HIMARS.
