Between 170,000 and 215,000 Bulgarians abroad are expected to vote in the elections on April 2, and no difficulties are expected in organizing the vote abroad, said Stefan Manov from the CEC's Public Council in "The Day Begins".

"Frequent holding of elections led to some routine in a positive sense. Finally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomatic and consular missions learned to work with the local Bulgarian communities and rely on them. Here and there, of course, there are problems, but there is no drama ".

He commented that there will be no video surveillance of the vote counting abroad, but this does not rule out the option of streaming if the committee members decide to do so.

Manov again recalled the lack of the "Chuzbina" region.

"Why is it important - it motivates people to vote. Today, Bulgarian citizens abroad do not elect national representatives, but only strengthen the number of parliamentary groups. There is no political offer to Bulgarian voters abroad".

Stefan Manov pointed out that the French abroad, who are more or less the same as the Bulgarians, elect 11 deputies in the lower house and 12 senators in the upper house of their parliament.

According to him, our National Assembly should have 10 deputies from the "Chuzbina" region, proportional to the vote.
