Anyone who wants to make a reservation for the Easter and May holidays and for the summer should hurry, because with every passing day the good opportunities decrease, the "We, the users" platform reminds the online media Iskra.bg on the occasion of the upcoming holidays.

"We shouldn't rely on last-minute offers, and it's good to organize everything now, because that way we'll be more relaxed when choosing and comparing the offers.

We also won't rely on any additional messages to them - "Now only!", "Best value!" and so on - things that, in order to be proven true, require a little more research on our part, which sometimes we don't, we over-trust and get lied to," said Gabriela Rumenova from "We the Consumers".

The expert pointed out the most common violations that people can face during their vacation.

"Sometimes family hotels are advertised as hotels, and in other cases, ordinary hotels are presented as spas.

There is a special regulation that describes in great detail what the requirements are for accommodations that will be called spas and wellness.

It can go so far that people may end up wanting to go to that spa hotel to use certain services as they expect them to be there after they have been to other similar hotels in the past and such services were available.

And to pay this money, expecting to have the services, but after going to the place to find out that there is only one pool and that's it.

This cannot be a spa hotel," explained Rumenova.

She revealed that there is also the violation of presenting an object with more stars than it actually has according to a categorization certificate: "Sometimes it is done in the following way and it is an unfair commercial practice - when the name of the hotel is registered, it goes with the symbol for the number of stars .

For example, it says "Hotel one si how many stars" and there are three stars at the top.

And according to the certificate of categorization, there are two stars."

"

It's good to check what establishments we can visit - bars, restaurants, as well as their stars

.

It is not bad to review their online menus, if they have such, so that we can orientate ourselves on the price levels," says Rumenova.

In order to avoid unnecessary risks, We, the users, recommend that before making a reservation, we check the registers on the page of the Ministry of Tourism.

In case of violations, the victims should react by first contacting the traders and then the control authorities

.

Irregularities such as incorrect information in the offers and failure to provide part of the promised services, including in the vouchers issued for accommodation, are the responsibility of the Ministry of Tourism and the Commission for Consumer Protection.

Also in cases where you go to a place and it turns out that the guest cannot be accommodated because something is wrong with their reservation.

If there is a problem with cleanliness, tourists can report it to the relevant Regional Health Inspections.
