The Russian invaders are trying to repeat in Avdiivka the same scenario as in Bakhmut.

However, the situation in Bakhmut and Avdiivka is different, and the occupiers do not take this into account.

This opinion was expressed by

a military expert

, pilot-instructor and colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in reserve Roman Svitan, Channel 24 reports.

According to the expert, the Russians have set themselves the task of conducting offensive actions with all forces and means in at least two or three points.

For this, they can take part of the military from the front in the Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia directions and transfer them to the Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions.

"Bakhmut is an information trap that they themselves have fallen into. They have to either take it or die under it. That's why they won't leave there. And Avdiyivka borders Donetsk and Yasynuvata, on the bypass road between Donetsk and Makiivka. This is a dangerous wedge for the Russians,"

the reserve colonel of the Armed Forces emphasized.

The expert emphasizes that the occupiers will use all their forces and will not reduce the pressure on the points of Bakhmut and Avdiivka.

In particular, the occupiers are trying to take Avdiivka with almost the same operational and tactical actions.

Whereas Akhmut has a wide scope, as it is a large settlement.

"That's why the Russians can't do anything in Avdiivka. The narrow width of the front and the small groups with which they try to capture the city are broken by our flank strikes. It's very easy to do," Svitan emphasized.

Svitan says that as soon as the Russian military moves further towards Sloviansk, the flanking strikes from Belogorivka and Bakhmut can cut off and completely surround the "Wagner" PVK.

The expert noted that the "Wagnerians" are very afraid of such a scenario, because the Russian army may not come to their aid.

We will remind you that due to the constant efforts of the enemy to surround Avdiivka, in Donetsk region, this city may soon become the "new

Bakhmut".
