German Chancellor

Olaf Scholz

said that the President of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is very polite in his phone conversations with him.

The chancellor said this in an interview with the Rheinische Post.

According to Scholz, he regularly talks with the head of the Kremlin.

Their dialogues last an hour to an hour and a half, sometimes in German, and sometimes with translation, he says.

"And yes, Putin is a polite person in these conversations. We call each other by name," the chancellor said.

Scholz emphasized that there are "glaring differences of opinion" between him and Putin.

Instead, the solidarity of Western countries helps to resist the aggression of the Russian Federation.

"We have a common political concept with the USA. And the European Union shows more commonality than it is visible to the outside world," he added.

It will be recalled that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that he welcomed the decision of the International Criminal Court to arrest the dictator of the Russian Federation.

According to him,

the warrant for the arrest of President Putin

shows that no one can stand above the law.
