[Reporter You Mingjin/Report from Yilan] The Ching Ming Festival is approaching, and the Yilan County Government has launched five convenience measures. It will set up a free shuttle bus from the Yilan Transit Station to Yuanshan Fuyuan from April 3rd to 5th; at the same time, it encourages centralized collection of paper money For burning service, 25 collection points have been set up in cemeteries throughout the county. People who entrust burning on their behalf can get a "lazy potted plant" ecological bottle. A collection point is limited to 50 bottles, while supplies last.

The five major convenience measures provided by the Yilan County government include subsidizing 12 township and municipal offices to handle weeding in traditional cemeteries. There are still about 60 cemeteries in townships and cities. In order to encourage townships and municipalities to improve the quality of the public’s grave-sweeping environment, they continue to subsidize the cost of weeding and cleaning cemeteries in the townships and municipalities.

In addition, the Yilan County Funeral Management Office (Yuanshan Fuyuan) held a spring ceremony on March 18 to pray for the ancestors. From 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on the same day, there is a free shuttle bus at the Yilan Transit Station to Fuyuan, with a bus every 10 to 15 minutes, which is convenient for people to visit graves and worship ancestors.

The Environmental Protection Bureau of Yilan County also cooperates with various township (town, city) offices and county funeral management offices to assist in the centralized collection of paper money, and set up "paper money and silk collection points" at convenience service stations in cemeteries. The collected and transported vehicles are transported to the special incinerator of the Lize Incineration Plant for unified incineration to reduce the impact of burning paper money on the environment and human health.

The Environmental Protection Bureau pointed out that the county government cooperated with the Genesis Foundation, and Genesis provided the "lazy potted plant" ecological bottle. The county government set up 25 collection points in cemeteries throughout the county. People can get the ecological bottle as long as they provide paper money to collect and burn. Each collection point is limited to 50 bottles. Lazy potted plants do not need to be watered or exposed to the sun, and they are kept at room temperature without opening the lid. Inside are orchids, ferns, etc., which can survive for 1 to 3 years in the bottle. After rooting, take out the seeds and plant them in the soil.

In order to strengthen the fire prevention work during the Qingming Festival, the Fire Department will dispatch fire trucks and personnel to carry out patrols, distribute water bags for the use of grave sweepers, and call on the four nos and one musts principles when sweeping graves, no fire for weeding, no littering of cigarette butts, and no paper money. Do not burn, do not set off firecrackers, and take away garbage to prevent fires.

In response to the influx of grave-sweepers and vehicles returning home, the police station will properly deploy the police and assist in traffic control and control around the cemetery in the county.

The Yilan County Government encourages paper money to be collected and burnt on behalf of others. People who entrust it to burn on behalf of them can receive a "lazy potted plant" eco-bottle. A collection point is limited to 50 bottles, while supplies last.
