Xi Jinping will become the first world leader to meet Vladimir Putin in person after the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague issued an arrest warrant for the Russian dictator on March 17.

The spokesman of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmytro Peskov, said that

the beginning of the meeting between Putin and Xi Jinping is planned for approximately 15:30 Kyiv time.

Putin will hold a conversation with the Chinese leader.

The topic of Ukraine "will certainly appear at the negotiations."
