Country's well-known election strategist

is running 'Jan Suraj' Pad Yatra in the country.

His visit is being done for political change in the country.

Will Prashant Kishor come into politics after all?

What do they want to achieve through this trip?

NDTV asked many such questions to him.

To which he replied something like this...

Prashant Kishore

said that

an effort will be made at the level of society of Bihar to create a new political system in

'Jan Suraj' is not a party.

This is not even a social movement.

This is an attempt to create a new political system through the society with the help of the society.

He further said that Bihar is known for very wrong reasons.

But now the time has come to know Bihar, what is the capability of the people of Bihar.

The capacity they have, they should be given a system, they should be kept in a mold so that a new system is formed in Bihar.

So that there is development not only in Bihar, but also at the level of the country, this thing should be established that people together can make a truly democratic option, their option, the public's option, and run it.

Prashant Kishore further said that let me tell you that before independence in this country, this system was in existence for years and decades.

We have read in history,

Not today's Congress, that Congress which was under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi.

In that system, people from all over the country used to gather at one place.

They used to decide who would lead that party for that year.

People used to decide together on what issues the agitation would be held and in what way it would be run.

If this thing was applicable or was being done before independence.

So it can be done even today.

Not at the level of Bihar, but at the level of the whole country.  

Prashant Kishore said during the interview that we do not come from those houses, those families which are born with identity.

Our identity is our work.

What we have done for ten years is my identity.

What we are doing now and what we are making stand, this will be our future identity.

Talking about the political parties of the country, Prashant Kishore said that the leader wants his followers to become blind devotees by tying them to his ideology.

It is a good thing to have an ideology.

Everyone must have some or the other ideology.

But having an ideology is one thing and becoming a blind devotee of ideology is another thing.

I am not a blind devotee.

I have started this campaign.

Where I understand that until you do not work at the level of the society... till then you cannot bring any change in politics.

BJP is winning in this country because they have united a large section of the society in the name of Hindutva. 

Prashant Kishore further said that 'Jan Suraj' is not a party.

This is an attempt to wake up the society to tell that the things for which you are blaming your leaders and parties.

If you look carefully, the root of it is your mistake.

Where you are not voting for the future of your children.

You are talking about education and employment... but you are giving votes in the name of caste, in the name of religion.

Unless you vote for your issues, education and employment, for the future of your children.... there can be no improvement till then and this is an attempt to make people understand.

I am telling people that brother, if you want an alternative, then you together make an alternative.

Giving the definition of 'Jan Suraj', Prashant Kishor said that it is an attempt to create a new political system with the help of the society.

In which parties were formed but parties were formed with the right people.

The people of the society build together.

Do not create any person or any family.

No one should be its leader.

No one should be its owner.

Rather, the party should be formed with the participation of the people of the society.

Everyone should make it together and run it together.
