Chinese leader

Xi Jinping,

in a conversation with Ukrainian President

Volodymyr Zelenskyi,

will insist on the adoption of the "peace plan" of the People's Republic of China in the interests of the Kremlin.

But Ukraine will not agree to serious pro-Russian decisions.

In an exclusive interview with TSN.ua, political scientist Mykola Davydyuk

told about this

, commenting on the information that Xi Jinping will talk to the President of Ukraine after his visit to Moscow.

"The fact that he will talk with Zelensky is good.

We can impose our position, invite him here - for example, to Kherson, Mariupol or Bucha. He will promote the so-called Chinese "peace plan".

In the non-public part, he has somewhat more pro-Ukrainian wording, but in essence it is a Russian plan written in Chinese," the expert noted.

However, according to Davidyuk, the Chinese leader "will not be able to make any serious pro-Russian decisions - Ukraine will not agree."

"

China is not the dominant violin in this war, China has not provided us with weapons, and if it starts providing weapons to Russia, it will receive sanctions that will slam its economy. It will not dare to do that either... It will try to play the world leader - a great

leader fits into the war, which has already been lost, even as number two," the expert added.

We will remind, according to the Financial Times, Chinese leader Xi Jinping plans to hold telephone talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky right after his trip to Russia and meeting with Vladimir Putin.

During Xi Jinping's visit to Moscow, Vladimir Putin said that he had carefully studied China's plan for the "Ukrainian settlement" and hinted at readiness for negotiations.

In turn, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expects that Xi Jinping will use his influence on Putin to end the war.

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleg Nikolenko emphasized that Ukraine is ready for a closer dialogue with China with the aim of restoring peace.
