The main intelligence agency of Ukraine has no evidence that it was the dictator Volodymyr Putin, and not his double, who came to the occupied Mariupol.
Andrii Yusov, representative of the State Government of Ukraine, announced this on the air of a nationwide telethon.
"Why are you sure that it was Vladimir Putin in Mariupol? We don't have any evidence that this person was Vladimir Putin. A man who looks like Putin is really captured in these footage," Yusov emphasized.
According to him, discussions are currently taking place in various expert circles as to whether Putin himself is alive at all.
The representative of the GUR noted that when the "real" Putin goes out in public, he sits at a long table - at a great distance from living people, one of his hands trembles and many other already characteristic signs.
"Among these signs, there is no walking around Mariupol in the evening, communicating with residents in the courtyards. This is a good direction. And it is clear that Russian propaganda knows how to stage various sessions. But we do not have any evidence that Putin was in Mariupol," he concluded.
We will remind, on March 19, the Russian dictator Putin visited the occupied Mariupol.
Russian human rights activist and journalist Mark Feigin does not rule out that the occupied territories were not visited by Putin, but by his double.
Ilya Ponomaryov, ex-deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, shares the same opinion.
The opposition presented a number of evidences that indicate that it was not the dictator himself.
According to expert Oleksandr Kovalenko, Putin's visit to Mariupol is the "last tour" of the dictator.
Political analyst Armen Chibukhchyan believes that Putin visited the occupied Crimea and Mariupol out of desperation.
