The Ministry of Communications stated that the Lin’an Bridge on Taiwan’s Line 17 crosses the Tainan Canal, and the traffic is very frequent. The Lin’an Bridge is located in a tidal river section. Minister of Transportation Wang Guocai said that the Tainan City Government is requested to complete the reconstruction project of Lin'an Bridge on schedule and with high quality, so as to reduce the impact on traffic during the construction period, so as to improve driving safety and reproduce the century-old glory of the Anping Canal; in addition, the project will increase the cost by at least 45 million due to rising prices. The underground parking lot of Shuipingyu Park in Tainan City is close to the main business district in the Central and Western District. It is subsidized by the Tainan City Government for the "Prospective Infrastructure Construction Design-Urban and Rural Construction-Improvement of Parking Problem Plan" of the Ministry of Communications. The total construction cost is 437 million yuan, and the planned construction is underground The second floor provides 362 parking spaces for cars and 102 parking spaces for motorcycles. The construction started on September 16, 2020, and the project was completed a few days ago (March 15).
