Mumbai:

A passenger died of a heart attack in an Indigo flight coming from Thailand's capital Bangkok to Mumbai.

The airline gave this information on Monday.

According to Indigo, a passenger suffered a heart attack during the flight, after which the flight was diverted to Myanmar in a medical emergency.

Indigo flight 6E-57 took off from Bangkok at 4 pm as per its schedule.

An hour later, the passenger sitting in the flight suddenly got a heart attack and died.

According to Indigo, the medical team was already present at the airport, but he had died before treatment.

The plane took off again after about five hours from here.

This is the third incident of flight landing due to medical emergency in a week.

Earlier on March 16 and 17, such a case had also come to the fore.

In both these cases also the passenger had died.

Ranchi-Pune Indigo flight was diverted to Nagpur


Earlier on March 17, a Ranchi-Pune Indigo flight was diverted at Nagpur airport following a medical emergency of a passenger.

After landing, the passenger was taken to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead.

An elderly woman died in a SpiceJet flight too


On March 16, an elderly woman died in a SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Gorakhpur.

According to media reports, he died about 25 minutes after taking off from Mumbai.

His son Rajkumar Singh told that he had suffered a heart attack.

Although she was healthy, but suddenly her health deteriorated in the plane.
