Possibilities for further military support for Ukraine are discussed at the meeting.

"Today, a project was discussed for the joint acquisition and provision of 155 mm projectiles," Stoyanov specified.

According to him, Bulgaria is not part of this general public procurement and there is no way it can be, since the Bulgarian Army does not have the means that can use this caliber.

Stoyanov specified that the state-owned factories "Terem" do not produce ammunition of the specified caliber.

"As far as I know, the Vazov engineering plants, Emko and Transmobil - these are Bulgarian companies, private and state-owned, have similar capabilities," he added.

"The Bulgarian army provides what can be provided. We are below the standard for stocks, so there is no way to provide additional military aid," explained the minister.
