Representatives of the Moscow Patriarchate came to the President's Office.

Their goal is to "bring the position of the UOC MP to the state leadership."

This is stated on the website of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

As noted, members of the synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate headed by Metropolitan Onufry arrived at the President's Office.

Their goal is to "bring the position of the UOC MP to the state leadership."

"Members of the Holy Synod have written an appeal to President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and want to personally explain to him the situation as it really is.

We came to convey to the President the position not only of the members of the Holy Synod, but also of millions of believers of the UOC.

We believe that the President is not being given true information about the UOC.

Judging by the statements that have been made, information about the UOC is being distorted and a false image of our believers is being created.

We have always been in favor of a constructive relationship, striving to develop relations between the State and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Such a dialogue is an important aspect related to the development of civil society," says the UOC website.

We will remind you that the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra will be leased to another church that has no relation to the pro-Russian Moscow Patriarchate.
