In Poland, in Zalasevo, near Poznań, a father and two children were found dead in their own house during firefighting.

The police established that people could have been killed, and to hide the crime - the apartment was set on fire.

The fire near Poznań happened back in October 2022, but only in March 2023 did the police establish that it was not an ordinary fire, but a mass murder of people. 

A 61-year-old man was found suffocated with a plastic bag.

His 55-year-old wife, 14-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son were probably killed with a blunt object.

To hide the traces of the crime, the family's house was burned down.

The police were shocked by the details of the mysterious massacre of the family and now they continue to establish the circumstances of the tragedy and look for the culprits.

The first version - it could be murder and suicide, the second - third parties were involved in the massacre. 

A suspected murder weapon was also found on which DNA material from three victims was found.

Prosecutors are still determining what actually happened immediately before the fire.

The family in which the tragedy happened moved to Poland from Germany.

Repairs were being carried out in the building where the fire occurred.  

Neighbors told reporters that "nothing predicted such a tragedy

, and the family looked "quite normal."
