The Donors' Conference on the earthquake in Turkey has started in Brussels.

According to APA's Istanbul correspondent, within the framework of the conference, discussions will be held on the consequences of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, as well as the amount of financial aid to be allocated to the two countries.

Organizations such as the European Union, the United Nations and the World Bank participate in the conference.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who spoke at the opening ceremony of the event, thanked all parties for this support.

"The damage caused by the earthquake is 104 billion dollars.

Regardless of its economic situation, it is impossible for any country to deal with a disaster of this scale on its own."
