The State Bureau of Investigation

completed the pre-trial investigation of Roman Dudin, the former head of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region

.

He is suspected of treason and committing criminal offenses against the established order of military service.

The expositor faces life imprisonment, the SBI reported.

The investigation established that on the eve of February 24, 2022, the suspect knew about the high probability of a full-scale attack by the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine.

However, instead of organizing work to oppose the enemy, he

engaged in sabotage

.

He

believed that the Russian offensive would be successful

and hoped that his "merits" would be taken into account by the occupation authorities.

The head of the special service

engaged in subversive activities

against Ukraine, which caused damage to defense capabilities and state security.

In particular, he

organized an attempt to remove the head of the Kharkiv regional state administration

from fulfilling his duties.

In this way, he wanted to prevent the implementation of the necessary measures of the legal regime of martial law by the head of the Khoda.

Also, the attacker discredited the current authorities

of Kharkiv and the region through the media

, providing false information.

He also tried to paralyze the security agencies of the region.

To do this, the exposador prevented the functioning of the unified management system of the security and defense forces of the region.

In addition, he deliberately did not ensure the fulfillment of the tasks assigned to the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region and ordered the personnel to leave the administrative premises and the territory of Kharkiv.

The former head of the SBU

intentionally created the conditions for handing over to the enemy the

military supplies stored in the administrative building of the administration, the means of ensuring combat operations, and the means of individual protection of servicemen.

In addition, in the conditions of martial law, he arbitrarily left his place of service without valid reasons.

The former head of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region is suspected of committing criminal offenses provided for in Part 2 of Art.

111 (treason), Part 5 of Art.

407 (voluntarily leaving a military unit or place of service), Part 4 of Art.

402 (disobedience) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

He faces life imprisonment.

It will be recalled that the SBU neutralized the cells of the "Bolshevik Party" in Kyiv and six other regions.

This is a Russian organization controlled by the FSB, which actively participates in subversive activities against Ukraine.
