[Instant News/Comprehensive Report] According to the data released today (19th) by the Statistics Office of the Ministry of Planning and Finance of South Korea, the employed population over the age of 60 jumped from 2.73 million in February 2013 to 5.77 million in February this year. It more than doubled in 10 years.

According to the Yonhap News Agency, the employed population over the age of 60 reached 5.77 million, the highest number in February every year since the Statistical Office began collecting data in 1996, an increase of 413,000 people over the same period last year.
